Ruined City

Henry Warren, a merchant banker, finds himself in a dying Northern English town after a medical operation. He witnesses the community's struggles and is moved to use his wealth to revive the local shipyard and the town's fortunes. However, his attempts to revive the business lead to a deception, resulting in his imprisonment.
